Laugh more! Did you know that you improve your immune system the more you laugh? Being positive, laughing and having fun releases neuropeptides that fight stress and illness. While stressing out and having negative thoughts will hinder your immune system. Stress reduces the amount of Secretory IgA in your gut (part of your immune system)!

What else does laughter do for the body? Enhances oxygen-rich air, increases endorphins in the brain (those feel good chemicals), and stimulates your heart, lungs and muscles. Laughter can actually relax your muscles and sooth tension. Laughter makes it easier to cope with difficult situations and reduces anxiety and depression.

Spend some time around kids. They know how to bring out laughter and happiness is just about anyone.

No kids around? Do something that makes you feel like a kid! Play on the swings at the park, do some cartwheels, play sports outside, or do some arts and crafts.
